The Red Hook Boaters are an activity committee of the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club. The Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club is a not-for-profit organization and is recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Contributions made via the Red Hook Boaters website may be used towards Redhook Boaters activities or to promote the mission of the 501(c)(3).
We welcome businesses to contact us for sponsorship of any of our free kayaking days, so please reach out via e-mail (info@redhookboaters.org).
The PayPal account is under the name "Gowanus Dredgers". Please add a note with your donation noting that the donation is for Red Hook Boaters.
We also have a store set up on Zazzle where you can buy a Red Hook Boaters shirt! Several style options are available, and all proceeds go towards supporting our group.
